AICF, American Israel Cultural Foundation, expanded their web site to include an online network for Israeli artists. The new Israeli Artist Network enables artists to connect across the world through an online portal. The network helps these articles network, learn about each other, promote their work and talents and share in building awareness and support for Israeli culture.
Artists can register on the network, then login and post their biography, profile information, upload their media, art, video, audio files and other details. Then they can connect with other artists, share their work on other sites including social networking sites.
AICF's Executive Director in the U.S., David Homan said, "Israeli culture has clear needs, and artists at every stage of their careers need support that is difficult to find. This includes: travel support, grants to allow time to create your work, fellowships, purchases of equipment, and commissions/support of various projects. We know your needs, and AICF plans to help as we develop awareness of AICF and venture into grants to help with career support."
