Over the past few years, RustyBrick has been helping companies achieve search engine visibility that they thought they could never achieve. But it is not only about the client. RustyBrick has devoted a substantial amount of its resources to helping the industry grow, improve, learn and streamline operations. Below are examples of RustyBrick's contributions, achievements and acknowledgments over the past few months within the search engine marketing industry.
RustyBrick is the proud sponsor and major knowledge contributor to the
Search Engine Roundtable. The Search Engine Roundtable is a well-known resource within the search engine marketing industry. The resource provides the latest tips on search technology by providing examples of real life occurrences. The search engine marketing industry is constantly changing. Keeping up with algorithmic changes instituted by the search engines, the constant consolidation of the search engine properties, and the improvements in search engine advertising technology are some of the topics covered at the Search Engine Roundtable.
In addition to informational resources, RustyBrick has developed a few
Web-based tools to help streamline and automate many of the day-to-day activities of a search engine marketer. The first tool developed around a year ago is named
SEO Count. SEO Count provides an easy to use method of tracking a Web site's progress in ranking well at Google. A few weeks ago RustyBrick released a
link analysis tool that digs deep into the link popularity of a Web page. The tool analyzes a Web page's detailed link structure, anchor text, PageRank and more. RustyBrick has also built several smaller tools that help the search engine marketer with their daily job. Tool development for this industry will continue to be a priority at RustyBrick.
RustyBrick has received some good public relations from these contributions. For example, Barry Schwartz, RustyBrick's President, was quoted extensively in a new book released by Wiley Publishers, the company that publishes the yellow Dummies books, named
"Build Your Business with Google For Dummies". In that book, Barry was included in the chapter named "Ten SEM and SEO Tips from the Pros." Barry was also a guest on a radio station that covers search engine marketing topics on July 13th at
SEO Radio. RustyBrick moderates two popular SEM forums;
Search Engine Watch Forums from
JupiterMedia and
SEO Chat Forums from the
DeveloperShed Network. Barry Schwartz is on the
education committee of
SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization). RustyBrick is a recognized leader in search engine marketing.
The search engine marketing industry is expected to grow rapidly over the next ten years. RustyBrick is dedicated to fueling that growth through the continued development of tools, sharing knowledge and continued support of the industry.
